Duolingo English Test preparation is available now — we’ve been preparing students since 2022. TOEFL iBT and IELTS programs are launching soon. We’ll help you choose the right test for your study-abroad goal during consultation.

Lingua is based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. We support students with English proficiency test preparation, test purchase, and a proper testing environment — not just online tips.
Where do I take the test — at home or at your exam room?
The Duolingo English Test can be taken from home, but many students prefer a quiet, supported environment. We offer exam-room support in Addis Ababa so you can sit the test with fewer distractions and technical worries.
Do you help me purchase the official test?
Yes. Test purchase is part of our service. We guide you through buying and scheduling the official exam so you don’t have to figure out payment, timing, or registration on your own.
Who can enter the monthly free DET giveaway?
Starting September 2026, students in Ethiopia can enter — Lingua enrollment is not required. Each month we review academic readiness, financial background, exam relevance, and study-abroad status; verify nationality and identity; then randomly select one eligible winner for a full DET, free testing room, and prep support.
How are free DET winners selected?
Entry alone is not enough. Lingua first filters candidates using academic readiness, financial background, how relevant the exam is to their goals, and their current study-abroad status. We also verify nationality and identity. From the eligible pool, one winner is chosen at random each month.
Do I need to be enrolled with Lingua to enter the giveaway?
No. The monthly giveaway is open to eligible students in Ethiopia. Sign up on our giveaway page to be considered from day one — enrollment with Lingua is not required.
How do I book a consultation?
Use the “Book Consultation” button on our homepage or message us on Telegram at @linguatestingsupport. We’ll schedule a short call to understand your goal and recommend the right test and prep plan.
How long does preparation usually take?
It depends on your starting level and target score. Some students are ready in a few weeks; others need longer structured prep. Your consultation is where we set a realistic timeline — we won’t rush you into a test you’re not ready for.
